HELLO! Below you will find plain language summaries for all of CEED's published articles. This practice was first developed by Dr. Kate Caldwell on our project team as a way to make academic articles more accessible. She then wrote the best practice recommendation for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), which can be found by clicking here. In response, the Institute on Disability & Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago began using this format to create Accessible Research Briefs for the department's research. We are excited that more and more people are using this format to make their research accessible to people with disabilities, their family members, service providers, and policymakers.
